Entrepreneurship training launches in Argentina and Chile
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CICAE) in Argentina is offering a free, one‑day training session titled “Estrategias de Ventas Exitosas” on June 9, aimed at merchants, entrepreneurs and salespeople. Participants will learn techniques such as active listening, adapting sales pitches, handling objections and closing deals to improve commercial performance.
In Chile’s Villa Alegre, 40 heads of household completed a banquetería course called “Sabores que Emprenden” organized by the social‑investment fund FOSIS. The program covered catering hygiene, event planning, budgeting, supplier management and marketing, providing tools for participants to start their own culinary‑service businesses and increase household income.
