Enugu East APC Endorses President Tinubu and Governor Mbah for 2027, Donates N300 million

On June 6, members of the All Progressives Congress in Nigeria’s Enugu East senatorial zone gathered at Okpara Square, Enugu, for a rally titled “Ofu Obi Rally for Tinubu and Mbah.” The event formally endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term and Governor Peter Mbah for re‑election in the 2027 general elections.

The zone pledged a donation of ₦300 million to support Mbah’s campaign, with motions moved by Senator Kelvin Chukwu and local legislators. Former Senate President Ken Nnamani praised Mbah’s “Smart Green Schools” initiative and broader development agenda; former Anambra governor Jim Nwobodo, the Secretary to the Enugu State Government, and other officials also voiced support and urged eligible voters to register for the upcoming elections.
