Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State was greeted with a massive civic reception in the Idodo zone of Nkanu East LGA. Thousands of residents praised his three‑year tenure, highlighted infrastructure upgrades such as the 14.5 km Amechi Idodo‑Oruku‑Amagunze road, the 40 km Owo‑Ubahu‑Amankanu dual carriageway, new smart green schools, primary health centres, bus terminals and a 300‑bed international hospital, and donated N50 million toward his 2027 re‑election campaign.

In a separate visit, members of the Ozalla community travelled to the governor’s country home in Owo, Nkanu East LGA, to thank him for similar development projects—including a functional smart school, a type‑II primary health centre, renovation of the local health centre and the Ituku‑Ishi Ozalla road.
