Environmental education programs launch for Italian schools

Various environmental education initiatives are launching for the 2026/2027 school year in Italy. The Associazione Natura per Tutti APS is returning with its “La scuola nel bosco” project. This outdoor education program focuses on sustainable development and ecosystem exploration, utilizing sites such as the Oasi Naturale del Bosco di Palo and the Centro di Educazione Ambientale “La Fattoria degli Animali”.

Additionally, the waste consortium Covar14, in collaboration with Achab Group, is renewing its “Eco RoB – Missione Ambiente” project. This initiative serves schools across 19 municipalities, covering topics such as waste management, recycling, and the circular economy.

Covar14 is also introducing “Ecovariando Teen,” an environmental journalism project designed for middle and high school students. This program aims to turn classrooms into multimedia newsrooms where students can produce reports, videos, and articles while learning to identify environmental fake news and use generative artificial intelligence responsibly.
