EOPYY announces digital healthcare updates and mandatory test result entries

The National Organization for the Provision of Health Services (EOPYY) has announced several digital transformation initiatives scheduled for late 2026.

Starting September 1, 2026, a two-month pilot program will begin for the entry of diagnostic laboratory test results into a Digital Repository. During this pilot phase, which runs until October 31, 2026, automated checks will be conducted to ensure results are recorded, but providers will still receive compensation even if a result is missing. However, from November 1, 2026, the process becomes mandatory; EOPYY will no longer compensate for diagnostic tests if the corresponding results have not been entered into the Digital Repository.

Additionally, on September 28, 2026, the DAPΥ Provisions application will migrate to a new, upgraded digital platform. The existing application will remain available until September 27, 2026, after which access will be exclusive to the new environment. This upgrade is part of a broader digital transformation project funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU program under the 'Greece 2.0' National Recovery and Resilience Plan.
