EPCOT to delay opening hours during October 2026 marathon weekend

EPCOT at Walt Disney World will implement delayed opening hours on two specific dates in October 2026 due to the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend. On Friday, October 23, and Sunday, October 25, the park is scheduled to open at 10 a.m. instead of its usual 9 a.m. start.

The schedule adjustments coincide with the Disney Wine & Dine 5K on Friday and the Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon on Sunday. These changes are likely due to the large number of participants in the runDisney events, which may require more time to clear the course before regular park operations can begin.

The delayed opening also affects Early Theme Park Entry for eligible resort guests. On these two mornings, Early Entry is scheduled from 9:30 a.m. until the official 10 a.m. opening.

Separately, the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival typically runs from late August through mid-November, offering global cuisine and beverage tastings across the park's World Showcase.
