Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 launches with new map, Sprites

Epic Games released Chapter 7 Season 3 of Fortnite, titled “Runners,” across all platforms. The update reshapes the island after the “Shattered” event, introducing a fractured sky and a newly designed coastal region that alters familiar locations.

The season reintroduces collectible Sprites—small companions that grant permanent abilities such as extra loot, shield regeneration, damage bursts or cloaking. Sprites come in different rarity levels, can be leveled up with Sprite Dust earned from successful extractions, and are central to the new progression system.

A new Battle Pass adds premium cosmetics, including a customizable mech Guardian, John Wick‑themed outfits and gear, and a canine companion. Several new weapons debut, notably a long‑range shotgun, a burst rifle, and John Wick’s pistol that fires clips while reloading.
