Equatorial Pará's E+ Caravana provides free fridges and LED swaps in Pará towns

Equatorial Pará’s E+ Caravana energy‑efficiency program visited several municipalities in the state of Pará in early July. In Parauapebas, the caravan operated from 7 to 9 July at the Casa da Mulher, offering residents services such as debt negotiation, registration and updating of the Tarifa Social electricity subsidy, and the chance to exchange up to five incandescent or fluorescent lamps for LED models. The programme also distributed 50 new, energy‑efficient refrigerators through its E+ Geladeira Nova initiative.

In Mojuí dos Campos, the caravan ran from 6 to 9 July at the municipal social assistance office, providing the same suite of services and replacing 30 refrigerators. The initiative aims to lower electricity bills, promote conscious consumption, and increase inclusion in social tariff programs across the state.
