Ercan Düzgün elected President of Bilecik Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Ercan Düzgün has been elected as the new President of the Bilecik Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TSO). Following the selection of 29 assembly members in previous committee elections, the members convened to vote for the new leadership, including the board of directors, TOBB General Assembly delegates, the Disciplinary Committee, and the Assembly Divan.

In the presidential race between the blue list candidates, Düzgün secured 16 votes, defeating İlhan Karaçayır, who received 13 votes. Düzgün’s management team includes Fikret Aktaş, Deniz Köylü, Gültekin Teyran, Ertan Onur, Nazir Afacan, and Gökhan Çevik.

In his victory speech, Düzgün emphasized a commitment to transparent, strong, and fair management, stating that he intends to work alongside all members regardless of political views to foster the city’s commercial and economic development. Meanwhile, the incumbent president, Mehmet Ergün, failed to secure a seat on the assembly after running on the white list for both the 6th and 9th professional committees.
