Bursa canoe team wins 12 medals at Turkey Championship

Bursa Büyükşehir Belediyespor's canoe team achieved significant success at the Durgunsu Canoe Turkey Championship held in Eskişehir. Competing at Sarısungur Pond between August 18 and 21, the team secured 12 medals, including six first-place finishes, three second-place, and three third-place rankings. Notable performances included Emircan Ayaklı and Simge Kaya, who both secured championships across the 1,000, 500, and 200-meter courses.

In Kayseri, the Erciyes High Altitude Camp Center has become a key training hub for professional swimming clubs. The Bolu Swimming Club and Tuğçe Kaplandeniz Sports Club have arrived with 15 athletes each to utilize the facility's high-altitude advantages for new season preparations.

Additionally, Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality has begun work on a new mountain coaster project at the Erciyes Ski Center. The facility will feature an approximately 1,100-meter track designed by Outdoor Factory, aiming to transform Erciyes into a four-season tourism destination with features such as night riding and electronic scoring systems.
