Erciyes Mountain transitions to four-season tourism hub

The Erciyes Mountain ski center is undergoing significant developments to transform into a year-round tourism destination. As part of the Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality's strategy to expand seasonal offerings, a new mountain coaster project has completed its assembly phase.

The approximately 1,100-meter-long coaster track is currently undergoing test runs and technical safety inspections prior to official certification. Planned features for the facility include night riding capabilities, scoreboard tracking for ride durations, and an automatic photography system to enhance the visitor experience.

This expansion follows years of administrative and sectoral efforts to consolidate the management of the 26 million square meter area. By diversifying activities beyond winter sports, local authorities aim to increase the region's tourism potential and ensure the center remains active throughout all twelve months of the year.
