Erciyes promotes year-round tourism with summer sports and gastronomy

Under the leadership of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, Erciyes is being promoted as a year-round tourism destination through a '12-month tourism vision.' While traditionally known for winter sports, Erciyes A.Ş. is actively expanding summer offerings to target national and international markets.

Summer activities at the site include gondola rides, summit excursions, trekking, cycling, ATV safaris, camping, and caravan tourism. The region is being marketed for its cool climate and natural landscapes, providing an alternative to warmer lowland areas.

In addition to outdoor sports, the initiative emphasizes gastronomy by featuring local Kayseri cuisine, such as mantı, pastırma, sucuk, and traditional desserts. Promotional campaigns are currently underway to showcase these nature, sport, and culinary experiences to a broader audience.
