Erdemli Imam celebrates 26 years of rewarding Quran course students

In the Erdemli district of Mersin, Imam Ali Köse is celebrating the 26th year of a tradition where children participating in summer Quran courses are rewarded for their achievements.

Supported by local businesses and philanthropists, this year's awards included bicycles, gold, and monetary prizes for over 90 students. More than 50 students successfully transitioned to reading the Quran. The program, conducted alongside four other instructors, focuses on religious, moral, and ethical education.
