The Erding Gladiators are set to begin their 2026/27 Oberliga-Süd season this weekend. Under coach John Sicinski, the team will host EV Füssen at the Stadtwerke Erding Arena on Friday, September 18, followed by an away game against the Tölzer Löwen on Sunday, September 20.

Despite a strong preseason, including a 4:3 victory against DEL2 club EV Landshut, the Gladiators face significant roster challenges. Players Johannes Meindl, Brandon Schultz, and Dennis Henter are sidelined with various injuries, with Meindl expected to be out for several months following surgery.
