Erding Gladiators ice hockey season preparations

Overview

The Erding Gladiators ice hockey team completed a preseason test match with a 3-0 victory over the Wipptal Broncos. During this period, the club announced a new sponsorship agreement with TrauerHilfe DENK, a regional funeral services provider, which will include presenting penalty times during home games.

As the team prepares for the start of the 2026/27 Oberliga-Süd season, they face roster difficulties due to injuries. Specifically, players Johannes Meindl, Brandon Schultz, and Dennis Henter are sidelined, with Meindl expected to be unavailable for several months following surgery.
