Erdoğan outlines strategic vision for a ‘Terror-free Türkiye’

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has outlined a strategic vision for a ‘Terror-free Turkey’ as part of the ‘New Century of Türkiye’ initiative. He described the process as a strategic state vision aimed at strengthening the country’s internal cohesion and security, rather than just a standard security policy.

During an AK Party Central Decision and Executive Board (MYK) meeting, Erdoğan emphasized that the government is monitoring the disarmament, dissolution, and liquidation processes through mechanisms led by the National Intelligence Organization and the Turkish Armed Forces. He noted that the process is moving toward a stage where the country may finally be freed from decades of terrorism.

Erdoğan warned his party leadership and deputies to remain vigilant against provocations during this critical and fragile period. He stressed that while the government is open to new ideas and criticism that benefit the nation, any attempts to sabotage the process for small political gains will not be tolerated. The upcoming legislative session is expected to focus heavily on this security process, as well as work toward a new constitution.
