Eryc Castillo attracts Liga MX interest amid Alianza Lima success

Alianza Lima striker Eryc Castillo has attracted significant interest from Liga MX clubs following a strong performance in the Peruvian Liga 1. Reports indicate that potential transfer offers from Mexican clubs could exceed two million dollars. Discussions regarding the Ecuadorian forward's valuation reportedly took place during the TransferRoom event in São Paulo.

While there has been speculation regarding interest from Santos Laguna, Alianza Lima has not received a formal communication from the club. The Peruvian institution currently maintains a firm stance on keeping Castillo for at least the remainder of the current season to maintain their competitive edge under manager Pablo Guede. Castillo is under contract with Alianza Lima until the end of 2028.

The 31-year-old has been a key offensive contributor, recording 17 goals and 5 assists in 26 appearances during the domestic league calendar, helping the squad secure the Torneo Apertura title.
