Erzurum Culture Route Festival features art and literature
The Erzurum Culture Route Festival, organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, continued its fifth day with a focus on art, literature, and cultural memory.
Activities included an Ebru art workshop led by Kadir Tuzci at the Erzurum Museum, where participants practiced traditional Turkish paper decoration techniques. At the İsmail Saib Sencer Provincial Public Library, educator and author Taner Özdemir moderated a creative writing workshop designed to develop reading, writing, and critical thinking skills in children.
Additionally, Ahmet Nezih Kök presented an exhibition titled 'The Spirit of an Academic's Amateur Collecting' at Erges Konağı. The collection features various items such as Erzurum-themed stamps, bank piggy banks, telephone cards, and matchboxes, highlighting social memory through everyday objects.
