Escenarios IMSS-Cultura brings theatrical works to Córdoba, Veracruz

The Escenarios IMSS-Cultura 2026–2027 program continues in Córdoba, Veracruz, with two theatrical productions scheduled for the second half of September. The initiative is a collaboration between the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and the Secretariat of Culture through the National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature (INBAL).

The programming includes ‘Bajo la piel de Puebla’ by Zeeka Teatro, a performance directed by Ángel Cerlo that integrates theater, circus, music, acrobatics, and song to explore the historical memory of Puebla’s foundational neighborhoods. Additionally, the company Puente Serendipia will present ‘Fiat Lux – La teoría de las estrellas’, a production aimed at children.

Claudia Curiel de Icaza, the Secretary of Culture, stated that the program aims to consolidate Córdoba as a meeting point for performing arts and promote cultural decentralization by bringing diverse artistic offerings to different regions of the country.
