Escuela Judicial de España opens specialized training course for Ibero-American legal professionals

The Escuela Judicial of the General Council of the Judiciary in Spain has announced the call for applications for its 14th Specialized Judicial Training Course. Based in Barcelona, the program is designed for members of the judiciary and other legal operators from Ibero-America.

The curriculum utilizes a case-study method similar to the training provided to Spanish judges, aiming to foster integration and the exchange of jurisdictional experiences between Spanish and Ibero-American judges. The program is divided into two modules:

Module 1 runs from March 1 to June 18, 2027, with an application deadline of November 30, 2026. Module 2 runs from September 6 to November 26, 2027, with an application deadline of March 12, 2027.

Participants may also have the opportunity to complete individualized two-week stays within judicial bodies following the modules.
