Esenler Güney Hospital put up for sale by TMSF

The Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) has announced the sale of Esenler Güney Hospital, which was transferred to its management following the investigation into the ‘Newborn Gang’ in Istanbul. Following the investigation, the licenses of several involved hospitals and health companies were canceled, leading the TMSF to initiate sales processes for these entities.

The estimated value for Güney Sağlık Hizmetleri has been set at 200 million lira. Interested parties must submit administrative and financial documents by September 29, 2026, with the official tender scheduled to take place on September 30, 2026, at the TMSF building in Esentepe, Istanbul. The process will involve a closed envelope stage to create a ‘shortlist’ followed by an auction.

Other healthcare institutions under TMSF management include Doğa Hospital, TRG Hospitalist, Silivri Kolan, Birinci Hospital, Avrupa Şafak, İstanbul Şafak, Bağcılar Şafak, and Medilife. The sales are being conducted based on the commercial and economic integrity of the hospitals. Previously, Birinci Hospital was put up for sale with an estimated value of 546.5 million lira.
