Esenyurt Municipality doubles parking capacity through new projects

Esenyurt Municipality has implemented a series of infrastructure projects aimed at addressing long-standing parking shortages in the district. Under the leadership of Deputy Mayor Can Aksoy, the municipality reports that total parking capacity has nearly doubled through the opening of seven new facilities and the expansion of existing ones.

Key developments include the opening of the Sultaniye Neighborhood parking lot, which accommodates 150 vehicles and 100 motorcycles, and the Beygah Open Parking Lot in Piri Reis Neighborhood, providing space for 55 vehicles and 20 motorcycles. Additionally, the municipality has optimized existing spaces, such as increasing the capacity of the Çınar and Örnek neighborhood parking lot from 154 to 314 vehicles by incorporating a closed market area.

The Şehit Erol Olçok Closed Parking Lot in the Necip Fazıl Kısakürek Neighborhood has also been reopened following extensive renovations after a previous fire. These efforts are intended to reduce irregular parking and alleviate traffic congestion throughout the district.
