Overview

Esenyurt Municipality has undertaken several infrastructure and resource management initiatives to improve district services.

In late August 2026, the municipality expanded its service fleet by purchasing 50 new vehicles for the Support Services, Parks and Gardens, and Science Affairs directorates. Led by Deputy Mayor Can Aksoy, this procurement strategy aims to reduce rental costs and strengthen municipal assets. This follows a prior acquisition of 81 cleaning vehicles supported by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change.

Concurrently, the municipality has worked to address parking shortages by nearly doubling total capacity. Through the opening of seven new facilities and the expansion of existing ones, such as the Çınar and Örnek neighborhood lot, the municipality aims to reduce traffic congestion and irregular parking. These efforts include the opening of the Sultaniye and Beygah parking lots, as well as the reopening of the renovated Şehit Erol Olçok Closed Parking Lot.
