ESET expands ESET PROTECT platform with new AI security layers

IT security manufacturer ESET is expanding its ESET PROTECT platform by introducing a new layer of AI-based security technologies. These tools are designed to assist B2B security teams in detecting and managing security incidents more efficiently.

The update includes ESET LiveCortex, which aggregates security-relevant events within a customer environment to identify connections between activities and provide prioritized context for analysts. Building on this, ESET LiveAI (formerly known as ESET AI Advisor) is designed to handle complex security tasks through multi-step processes and automated actions based on predefined rules.

Additionally, the company is launching ESET AI Security to protect businesses using artificial intelligence, specifically focusing on securing autonomous AI agents. ESET has announced plans to invest an additional 40 million euros starting in 2026 to further develop these AI technologies for both cyber defense and the protection of AI usage on the client side.
