ESET introduces AI Security module to PROTECT Platform
Cybersecurity firm ESET is expanding its B2B portfolio by integrating a new AI Security module into the ESET PROTECT Platform. The update aims to protect organizations against emerging threats within the AI ecosystem, specifically targeting the risks associated with autonomous AI agents and AI-driven workflows.
The new capabilities include AI Agent Security, which provides a dedicated layer to defend against malicious AI components, and AI Behavioral Monitoring, which continuously tracks the actions of autonomous agents to detect and flag suspicious behavior. This initiative follows ESET's research into AI-enabled threats such as PromptLock and PromptSpy. To support these advancements, the company has committed an additional €40 million investment in AI through 2026.
