Eskişehir court hears witness testimony in courier stabbing case
Witnesses have provided testimony in an Eskişehir court regarding a violent incident involving a delivery courier. The case stems from a May 2025 altercation where a courier, identified as M. E. A., was allegedly stabbed multiple times by a pedestrian, B. T., following a dispute triggered by a minor collision involving a motorcycle.
During the hearing at the Eskişehir High Criminal Court, a local shopkeeper testified that the courier had asked for a weapon, such as a knife or stick, during the struggle. Another witness, a taxi driver, stated they did not intervene due to the chaos of the scene. The defendant, B. T., previously claimed he was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. The court has adjourned the trial until December 1 to address remaining gaps in the case file.
