Eskişehir faces scattered thunderstorms and 36 °C highs on July 4
The Meteorology 3rd Region Directorate forecast a mostly clear morning in Eskişehir on July 4, with temperatures staying near seasonal norms. From midday onward, isolated to localised thunderstorms with heavy rain are expected, especially over the western districts such as Tepebaşı, İnönü, Sarıcakaya and Mihalgazi.
Wind will generally come from the north and north‑west at light to moderate strength, but may intensify to gusty conditions during the afternoon and early evening. No official meteorological warnings have been issued, though authorities advise caution in open areas during the expected gusts and sudden showers. The highest temperatures are predicted to reach 36 °C in Sarıcakaya and Mihalgazi, while cooler spots like İnönü and Mihalıççık will see around 27 °C.
