Eskişehir police conduct large‑scale public order and traffic checks

Around 500 officials, including 350 police officers and 150 staff from municipal, health, agricultural, social security and environmental agencies, carried out a coordinated public‑order and traffic inspection in the centre of Eskişehir, Turkey. The operation covered major streets, parks and public venues, where 1,827 people were subject to identity checks and five were flagged as missing.

Inspections of 98 leisure establishments uncovered violations at 21 sites. Traffic control stopped 172 vehicles, resulting in seven fines totalling 16,311 Turkish lira. The entire effort was monitored on‑site by Eskişehir Police Chief Tolga Yılmaz.
