Esperanza Macarena restoration sparks debate over religious iconography

Discussions have emerged regarding the restoration of the Esperanza Macarena religious image in Seville. Following an intervention by Pedro Manzano, supported by the IAPH, the sculpture has been restored to a state described as its best version to date.
