Esporte Clube Bahia strengthens youth academy with new signings and CBF praise
Esporte Clube Bahia is continuing to strengthen its youth academy, known as 'Pivetes de Aço', through both talent scouting and new player acquisitions.
João Alves, a technical observer from the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), recently visited Bahia’s CT Evaristo de Macedo. Alves evaluated various age groups from Sub-12 to Sub-20, praising the club’s formation processes, player routines, and the high potential of its athletes. He noted that Bahia’s ability to produce players for national selection categories highlights the quality of their developmental work.
In addition to these developmental successes, the club has signed three new players for its Sub-17 squad. Defender Kayke Bueno joins on a 10-month loan from Ituano-SP, while attackers João Pedro and Jordy have signed permanent contracts. These signings aim to bolster the squad currently managed by Túlio Bilaque as they navigate the ongoing season.
