Essex rail services disrupted after person hit by train
Rail services in Essex have faced significant cancellations and delays following an incident where a person was hit by a train between Tottenham Hale and Cheshunt.
Greater Anglia reported that all lines in the affected area were blocked, causing disruptions to services between London Liverpool Street and destinations including Stansted Airport, Cambridge North, and Hertford East. Some trains have been diverted via Seven Sisters.
Network Rail and emergency services are working to reopen the line, though an estimated time for resumption was not immediately available. Passengers have been advised to use alternative routes, including the Victoria, Circle, Hammersmith & City, and Metropolitan lines.
