Estavana Polman leaves Vandaag Inside talk show

Estavana Polman, a former handball player, will no longer appear as a regular guest on the Dutch talk show ‘Vandaag Inside’. Although she was initially scheduled to join the program once a month, the arrangement has been terminated.

Johan Derksen expressed that the decision is “very sad” and suggested the production team should have handled her presence more carefully. He noted that while Polman is a vibrant personality, she struggled to contribute to the wide range of topics discussed on the show, which requires guests to have opinions on diverse subjects beyond her personal life or handball.

René van der Gijp had previously voiced doubts regarding her suitability for the role, suggesting she might face undue pressure. Derksen stated that Polman has been “so damaged” by the experience that it is no longer wise for her to sit at the table, though he acknowledged her potential in other capacities.
