Ester Roca named Front Ampli candidate for Tarragona

Ester Roca, the co-director of the Concurs de Castells and a culture official for the Tarragona City Council, has been selected by the Consell Nacional de los Comuns to lead the Front Ampli list for the general elections in Tarragona on November 29.

Roca, an expert in Catalan popular culture, succeeds former Altafulla mayor Félix Alonso. The candidate list includes Òscar Sendra, the mayor of Aiguamúrcia, in the second position, followed by Eva Amposta, former mayor of Pinell de Brai, in third. Jordi Collado, a municipal spokesperson for En Comú Podem, will close the list in the sixth position.

For the Senate candidacy in the province of Tarragona, the progressive coalition has chosen Luis Omar El Gabry Bravo, a historian and secondary school teacher from Calafell.
