Estevao Willian urged to leave Chelsea due to lack of playing time

Brazilian attacker Estevao Willian has been advised to seek a move away from Chelsea to secure consistent playing time. Despite a promising debut season where he scored eight goals in 36 appearances, the 19-year-old has struggled to break into Xabi Alonso’s first team this term.

Having yet to start a Premier League match this season, Estevao has seen limited action, including being an unused substitute in a recent victory over Everton. Reports indicate the player may look to force a transfer in January.

Former Chelsea winger Scott Sinclair suggested that a loan or permanent move could be beneficial for the player's development. Sinclair noted that for young players, gaining match fitness and experience is essential, stating, “the longer you go without playing, the less match-fit you become, which makes it even harder to get into the side.”
