Estoril Praia and Famalicão draw 1-1 in season opener

Estoril Praia and Famalicão played to a 1-1 draw in their opening match of the 2026/27 Liga Portugal Betclic season at the Estádio António Coimbra da Mota.

Famalicão took the lead in the 30th minute through Georgios Koutsias. Despite Estoril Praia's early dominance, they struggled to equalize before halftime. In the second half, Estoril increased pressure, eventually finding an equalizer through Yanis Begraoui in the 72nd minute. The match ended in a draw with both teams sharing the points.
