Ethiopia faces renewed conflict as TPLF-led alliance launches offensive
Ethiopia faces a significant escalation in violence as the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) leads a new offensive against the federal government. Seven previously opposing armed groups, including the TPLF and Fano, have formed the ‘Ethiopian National Forces Alliance for Survival’ with the stated goal of removing Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.
