Eurobank completes €600 million green bond pricing
Eurobank has successfully completed the pricing of €600 million in Green Senior Preferred bonds with a fixed interest rate, maturing in September 2033. The proceeds are intended to finance or refinance a portfolio of eligible green investments in accordance with the bank’s Green Bond Framework 2026, which aligns with the ICMA Green Bond Principles 2025.
The issuance saw significant demand, with total orders reaching nearly €1.4 billion, representing an oversubscription of approximately 2.5 times. This high level of interest allowed Eurobank to reduce the bond's credit margin to 98 basis points from an initial indicative offer of 125 basis points. The bonds will be listed on the Euro MTF of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
International investors accounted for approximately 90% of the order book, with participation from over 65 different investors. Key geographic contributors included the Benelux region (27%), the United Kingdom (23%), France (20%), and the DACH region (11%). Investor types included asset managers (54%), insurance and pension funds (21%), and banks (17%).
