Eurobank completes €9.8 million share buyback and plans cancellation of 28 million shares
Eurobank announced the purchase of 2,273,500 of its own shares on Euronext Athens between 6 July and 10 July 2026. The transactions were executed at an average price of €4.305 per share, amounting to a total cost of €9.79 million. After these purchases the bank holds 42,011,285 own shares.
The bank also confirmed that, following a shareholder decision on 28 April 2026, 28,097,019 of its own shares will be cancelled, reducing its share capital. The cancelled shares will cease trading on the exchange from 14 July 2026 after registration with the General Commercial Registry. The buy‑back and cancellation are part of the “Own‑Shares Repurchase Programme” approved by the bank’s General Meeting and governed by local corporate law.
