Europa Union Germany launches Europa aktiv double issue 4‑5/2025

The Europa Union Germany (EUD) announced the release of the double issue 4‑5/2025 of its member magazine "Europa aktiv". The publication is now available as an e‑paper, via the Europa aktiv app and as a PDF download.

The issue highlights several milestones: Prof. Dr. Andrea Wechsler MdEP was elected the first female chair of the Europa‑Union, the EUD parliamentary group in the German Bundestag was reconstituted, and regional branches celebrated anniversaries – EUD and JEF Saxony marked ten years, while the Trier and Schwalm‑Eder chapters reached seventy‑five years. Youth activities included a JEF delegation’s October trip to Serbia to observe local protests, and in November the JEF and EUD hosted a Parliamentary Europe Forum where the "Federalist Peace Forum" was presented, featuring Israeli and Palestinian youth. Looking ahead, the organisation previewed three major eightieth‑anniversary celebrations slated for 2026: the Europa‑Union Germany, the Union of European Federalists, and the Hertensteiner Theses.
