Europe releases new studio album ‘Come This Madness’

The Swedish rock band Europe has released their twelfth studio album, titled ‘Come This Madness’. This marks the group's first studio album in nine years, following 2017's ‘Walk The Earth’.

The new record emphasizes a heavier sound characterized by prominent guitar riffs and metal influences, drawing comparisons to the styles of bands like Scorpions and Black Sabbath. While the band maintains their signature use of keyboards, the album focuses on a more robust, hard rock direction. Key tracks include ‘One On One’, ‘The Cult Of Ignorance’, and ‘Scandinavian Eyes’.

Critics note that the album showcases the band's evolution over four decades, featuring strong vocal performances from Joey Tempest and guitar work from John Norum, without attempting to artificially recreate their 1980s hits.
