Europe to release new studio album ‘Come This Madness’

Europe band Come This Madness hard rock new album release Joey Tempest

Swedish hard rock band Europe is set to release their twelfth studio album, ‘Come This Madness’, on Friday, September 25, via Silver Lining Music. This marks the group’s first studio album in nearly a decade.

To promote the release, the band has unveiled the title track, ‘Come This Madness’, accompanied by a video montage featuring behind-the-scenes and live footage from their 2026 activities. Frontman Joey Tempest stated that the production aims to capture the ‘spirit of the old days’ with soaring melodies and big choruses, while also reflecting contemporary global events.

The album was recorded at RMV Studio in Stockholm and produced by Tom Dalgety, with additional mixing by Mike Fraser. The record features guest appearances from notable musicians, including Tobias Forge of Ghost and Mikael Åkerfeldt of Opeth.

Following the album launch, the band will embark on their ‘Final Countdown 40th Anniversary Tour’, starting September 30 in Glasgow, UK, with subsequent dates across Europe and Japan in early 2027.
