Europe Smash table tennis draw set in Malmö

The draw for the main tournament of the Europe Smash table tennis event has been completed in Malmö, Sweden. The tournament features top international players competing in the Malmö Arena.

Swedish players face significant challenges in the opening rounds. Truls Möregårdh is set to face Germany’s Dimitrij Ovtcharov, while wildcard William Bergenblock will play against world number eight Hugo Calderano from Brazil. Other Swedish competitors include Anton Källberg against Vladimir Sidorenko, Mattias Karlsson against Denmark’s Jonathan Groth, and Stina Källberg against Ukraine’s Margaryta Pesotska.

In the women’s singles, Nomin Baasan and Siri Benjegård are scheduled to face top-10 players Shin Yubin of South Korea and Yidi Wang of China, respectively. Filippa Bergand will seek a rematch against Japan’s Satsuki Odo.
