European clubs eye German internationals Schlotterbeck and Wirtz

Several major European football clubs are reportedly monitoring the situations of German internationals Nico Schlotterbeck and Florian Wirtz.

Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck has drawn interest from Real Madrid, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Barcelona. Schlotterbeck is under contract with Dortmund until 2031, with a reported release clause between €50 million and €60 million for specific clubs. Dortmund is said to value the player at over €70 million for other suitors, though no official offers have been made.

Meanwhile, Liverpool attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz is being watched by Real Madrid, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich. Despite interest from other clubs, Liverpool reportedly has no plans to sell the 23-year-old. Former Manchester United player Paul Scholes suggested that Wirtz might flourish in LaLiga if a move from the Premier League were to occur.
