European Commission launches Energy Regulation Academy

The European Commission has launched the Energy Regulation Academy (EnRA), a three-year program designed to support public officials across all 27 EU member states. The initiative provides training, workshops, and technical assistance to help national authorities, ministries, and regulatory bodies implement recent electricity market reforms.

The program aims to bridge the gap between the approval of European regulations and their practical application at the national level. Key focus areas include electricity market reform, renewable energy investment conditions, grid planning and authorization, system flexibility, digitalization, and consumer protection.
