European Heritage Days celebrated in Bisceglie and Chiavari

Various Italian cities are participating in the European Heritage Days through local cultural initiatives. In Bisceglie, the Archeoclub d’Italia and the UNESCO Club of Bisceglie organized a heritage walk at the Torre Maestra in Largo Castello. The event included a visit to the “Francesco Prelorenzo” Ethnographic Museum to promote the preservation and transmission of local history to younger generations.

In Chiavari, a conference titled “Historical Shops and Traditional Local Businesses of Chiavari” is scheduled to take place at the Largo Pessagno auditorium. The event, promoted by the Municipality of Chiavari in collaboration with regional superintendencies, focuses on the historical and commercial value of long-standing local businesses. The city maintains a registry of historical shops, which requires at least fifty years of operation and significant architectural or documentary characteristics.
