European Heritage Days celebrations in Italy

Overview

Various Italian cities are participating in the European Heritage Days through diverse cultural initiatives focused on the theme “Protecting heritage. Renew, resist, reinvent.”

In Diano Marina, the Civic Museum is holding a special opening to coincide with renovation projects at the Palazzo del Parco. These efforts include safety upgrades and the restoration of a frescoed ceiling, alongside the expansion of an archaeological section featuring Roman amphorae.

In Bisceglie, heritage walks and museum visits are being organized to promote the preservation of local history. Meanwhile, Chiavari is hosting a conference regarding the historical and commercial value of traditional local businesses, supported by a municipal registry for shops with significant architectural or documentary characteristics.
