European hikers summit multiple peaks in Croatia and on Elbrus

Members of the Croatian Hiking Society Sniježnica completed a three‑day trek in Montenegro, scaling four summits—including Crna Glava (2,139 m) and Kučki Kom (2,487 m)—exploring one of Europe’s deepest canyons and swimming in alpine lakes, all within 60 hours.

A separate group of Bosnian climbers from the Konjuh Tuzla Hiking Society reached Europe’s highest mountain, El Brus (5,642 m) in the Caucasus. The ascent took twelve hours, followed by a five‑hour descent, with the team navigating bus rides, gondola lifts and high‑altitude camps amid harsh weather and altitude‑related challenges.
