European Mobility Week events held in Kraków and Tychy
Cities in Poland are participating in the European Mobility Week under the theme ‘Mobility for Everyone’. The campaign promotes sustainable transport, including public transit, cycling, and walking.
In Kraków, the Kraków Road Authority (ZDMK) is hosting a Safe Driving Town on September 12 at the M1 Shopping Center. This educational event aims to teach road safety through practical experience, including crash simulators, emergency technique training, and first aid demonstrations to help drivers understand the physical consequences of accidents.
In Tychy, activities will run from September 16 to 22. The program includes night-time events such as photography walks, roller skating, running, and cycling raids. Additionally, an open day at the PKM and TLT depots will feature technical demonstrations, displays of new and vintage buses and trolleybuses, and a football tournament.
