Sarajevo Film Festival awards ‘Everytime’ best film prize
The 32nd Sarajevo Film Festival has concluded, with the film ‘Everytime’, directed by Sandra Wollner, winning the top prize, the Heart of Sarajevo for Best Narrative Feature Film. The jury, led by Emily Watson, unanimously selected the drama, which is a co-production between Austria and Germany.
Other major award winners include Ana Urushadze for Best Director for ‘Supporting Role’, Eva Kostić for Best Actress for ‘17’, and Adrian Văncică for Best Actor for ‘You Don’t Belong Here’. In the documentary category, ‘To Hold a Mountain’ by Biljana Tutorov and Petar Glomazić took the top honor.
Emir Hadžihafizbegović was presented with the Honorary Heart of Sarajevo, recognizing his significant contributions to Balkan cinema. The festival, held from August 14 to 21, also featured various special jury prizes and recognition for short films and student productions.
