European Union migration policy and overlooked female entrepreneur contribution

However, many face obstacles such as non‑recognition of qualifications, limited access to credit, administrative barriers and lack of local business networks, which often force them into lower‑skill jobs. The EU's Action Plan on Integration and Inclusion 2021‑2027 aims to address these challenges by providing financing, training and advisory support to migrant entrepreneurs, including women, to better harness their economic potential.
